To remain competitive with our online eBay auctions and Etsy sales, we have to offer reasonable shipping costs for lower price point items. Instead of shipping via USPS Registered Mail, Restricted Delivery, as is the normal company policy; for eBay or Etsy items under $200 that are paid for using Paypal, we can ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation.

The option of shipping insurance will be offered to the customer at an additional cost. Our 3rd party insurance carrier does not cover First Class or Priority Mail unless it’s Registered, so we have to pay for insurance on eBay packages shipped one of these ways.

Shipping will only be to the authenticated Paypal address on record and a signature is required. This new policy will help us reduce shipping charges and more effectively sell lower priced items on eBay and Etsy safely and efficiently.

Paypal rules

• The payment must be marked “eligible” or “partially eligible” for Seller protection on the Transaction Details Page.
• You must have Proof of Delivery.
• You must ship the item within 7 days of receipt of payment.

We cannot ship eBay or Etsy purchases overnight unless the purchase is paid for by wire transfer. USPS Express Mail does not offer Signature Confirmation (and we have to have a signature for the Paypal Seller protection) and there is no other service that will require a signature at the address on the package. FedEx has signature options but they will not reimburse us for any loss in the event that their driver neglects to obtain the requested signature!
