Formal Vulnerability Management and Software Patching Procedures:

Our patch management process is systematic and consistent. The process begins with the identification of patches released by software vendors. The technical team then assesses the relevance of these patches to our environment, considering factors like our software inventory, configuration, and other system specifics.

Following this, we categorize the patches based on their severity level (critical, high, medium, low) and priority for installation is determined according to risk. The patches then undergo a testing phase in a controlled environment to ensure they do not disrupt any functionality.

Once cleared, patches are deployed across our infrastructure during predefined maintenance windows, typically during off-peak hours to minimize any impact on operations.
