Right now our inventory is managed out of the San Diego store. Since it is not in the Solana store then it is easy for that store to have holes. It makes a difference if you are in the store, seeing the goods all the time and helping to put the merchandise in/out everyday. You easily see the holes this way.
In order to prevent holes from occurring anyone who does the buying, or assists with buying, must go up to the Solana store every other week.
When they go to the store they need to ask all the sales staff what they need, or would like to see. They should also take note as to the condition of the displays, anything that has been there too long and ways to improve the set up.
In order to keep both stores’ inventory in line with trends and prices, then all inventory personnel need to peruse other stores in the area every other month.

Doing this allows inventory to have understanding of the retail market. They will have a better idea of what other stores price their goods at and how they display their goods. It is important to have an understanding of what is going on outside of our world.
