Website Merchandise Promo

Formerly titled “Internet Promo”

IMAGES

We regularly post merchandise for sale on our web site or our FB page, so all images taken for any form of promo that might ever be used on the internet, should be taken in a quality that can be used on the internet.

Additionally, all merchandise images taken for catalogs should be posted to our online store as soon as possible with the appropriate description and pricing information.

DESCRIPTIONS

We have to present more information on our website about our items for sale because we don’t have the knowledgeable salesperson there to educate the customer the way we do when the customer sees the items in our showroom. So along with benefits, we have to always present information about the quality of the piece (features), and why buying it would be a wise investment.

“Many jewelry purchases are made by consumers who are highly involved in the transaction. This may be due to the ticket price being higher than their average purchases. Highly involved shoppers are looking for detailed information and appreciate being educated. Many jewelry customers openly acknowledge that they feel they don’t have the necessary knowledge to properly evaluate the quality of jewelry items and therefore rely highly on jewelry companies to provide product information. Traditionally, most jewelry information was delivered in face-to-face, in-store presentations with sales associates. Now through self-service features on websites, many customers are taking advantage of educational information posted online. People buy jewelry emotionally and justify the purchase rationally. That’s why the information regarding quality, design, style, and materials used are very important to help the customer justify the purchase decision.”
