Two Sided or Double Headed Coins

FYI, if you ever buy a double-sided coin, usually they are two of the head side on both sides of the coin.

These are not mint errors but a coin that was made by hand. The “real” two-headed coins are made out of two real coins. And will be the same size as that coin should be. They should weigh roughly what that coin should. It can be anything from a modern penny to an antique silver dollar. You know what common coins look like, feel like, and weigh. They should have all those characteristics if it is a real two-headed coin made out of real coins.

On the other hand, you can buy “fake” two-headed coins on Etsy. These are not made out of real coins. As you can see by the price these are not made from real coins and, therefore, not made of real silver. See the 1932 quarter and the silver dollars https://www.etsy.com/market/double_headed_coin

If you get a chance to buy the ones made out of real coins, please do. I collect them. This article says they are worth $3-10, and they are correct. Only on a well-done silver dollar would I pay more, around $25-30.
