We have our own unique way of running our organization. Many of our methods are used in other fields. But in the jewelry trade, very few stores handle business the way we do.
For example; the typical jewelry store has a few people who sit and wait for customers to come in. We don’t. We write letters, we make phone calls, send catalogs and various other things to bring customers into the store. Another example is that when a customer asks for something we don’t have, we work hard to get it for them. In other stores, if it is not in the case, the customer is told, “we don’t carry that item.” These and many other examples will become clearer as you work here. We through our store policies, have tried to include all the successful things we have tested and found to work.
It is our unique and proven way of doing business that separates us from the rest of the pack. Be sure to keep that in mind, when you are considering a new, yet – untried, way of doing something. New ideas are fine! But let’s check them out in a controlled situation and see how they mesh with our proven successful actions before using them.
