Store Thermostat

If you get cold easily, then please bring or wear warm clothes in the store. Do not touch the thermostat. The air conditioner needs to be set higher to keep warm-blooded people comfortable. “Warm blooded” people can’t dress down, but “cold blooded” people can dress up.

They should be set at 72 degrees. If this is too hot or too cold then something else is wrong. The thermostat should be checked as well as the cleaning of the unit. There is about a 3 degree range on the thermostats meaning when set at 72 the temperature may go up to 75 before turning on and may go down to 69 before turning off. This is to prevent the unit from clicking on and off to maintain a 72 degree temperature. If it suddenly turns cold or hot outside it can take a while for the thermostat to adjust. Tell the staff asking for a reduction or increase in coldness that it will automatically adjust and that you will check back to make sure it doesn’t continue as a problem. Check back in an hour and see how things are then. If it is still cold then have it checked.
