Sales, Taking Customers to the Buy Side

There will be times when salespeople need to take their customers to the buy office because they have something to sell or at least be evaluated. Take them outside and walk them into the buy office entrance hallway. Explain that they will wait there while you get a buyer to help them, as soon as one is available.

If there is a line of buy customers already waiting, we can’t skip the line to help the customer you have walked over. All of our customers are important and we want to treat each one with value and time they deserve. Let your customer know as you are walking them over that you will let the buyer know they are there and they will be helped as soon as someone is available.

Please do not interrupt a buyer while they are with a customer to show them another customer’s items or ask questions about buying something from the customer you brought over or have on the phone. It is important for the customer in front of the buyer to feel like they are getting the time and respect deserved. If the buyers are busy with customers, you can ask Maggie, Nicole, or Elliot.
