QR Code Cards

A QR is a type of barcode, and QR stands for Quick Response. We use these codes to make it easy for the customer to leave reviews. The customer can scan the QR code with their phone camera, which takes the customer directly to our YELP or Google review pages. If another website for reviews becomes more popular than these two, we will add it in the future.

We have printed business card size cards that have the Yelp QR code on one side and the Google review QR code on the other side. We put them on opposite sides to make it easier for the customer to scan only one of the codes.

For the showroom cards, these QR codes will take the jewelry store customer to the main store’s Google or Yelp review pages.

If you are in a buying office, the QR codes will take the customer to our review pages for that specific location. SD Gem Lab’s QR codes will take the customer to those Yelp/Google review pages.

Every staff member who deals with the public should have QR code business cards at their desk. These cards are to be handed to a customer as they are waiting for something like a repair, polish, while you are doing paperwork, or evaluating something. You can ask, “Please leave us a review (while you are waiting)?” You may also hand them to a customer as they leave the store or buying office or Gem Lab.

You should also include one in EVERY letter, note, or thank you card, even if you have already given them one or asked them to write a review. You would also point out that it is a TWO SIDED card so they know there is a Yelp side and a Google side.

If the customer is a good one, likes you a lot or seems open, ask them to do BOTH!

For the marketing department: the card would have Yelp on one side and Google on the other side.
