Preowned Watches

It has been the long standing policy that no preowned vendor’s watches go into the case without OUR company watchmaker checking it out. Only our watchmaker verifies the watch as OK or not OK. No one else is deemed qualified to do so.

This must get IN. We have too much to loose if one watch goes bad or especially if it has a non-Rolex part in it.

If the vendor doesn’t want to do this, then they can keep their watch, as it’s just not worth it.

And this doesn’t mean telling the customer that it needs service or put a tag saying, “needs service” – There is no exception to this rule.

Unfortunately when this has happened the customer comes back, doesn’t trust us and even when they do their “buyer’s remorse” raises to a level that they want nothing to do with the watch and demand a refund. Add to this the number of times the customer tells this story to others and you see that when this policy is violated the entire company is at risk.
