Ordering Newsletters from Printers

In order to prevent problems with discrepancies in ordering newsletters, the following policy is hereby implemented:

  • Always get an accurate count of number of customers based on number in last mailing to all CF, adding number of new names per week to that.
  • Get a written Purchase Order made out for the quantity of newsletters requested, and when the printer picks up the job, have him sign the Purchase Order, verifying that the number ordered is understood, and in writing. Give the printer a copy of this and keep one in our files.

In this way, we will have a written record of how many were ordered and can verify that we did get what we ordered. The printer cannot say we ordered something other than what we did, because it will be in writing. There should always be at least 5-600 extra newsletters after the labels are done.
