The primary function of Marketing is promotion to the public. This includes printed materials that promote our products and services to our customers.
Marketing maintains the printing contacts where we are currently getting the best prices. So it makes sense for Marketing to manage all the printed materials used by the company, including sales and repair invoices, letterhead, envelopes, stuffers, thank you cards, etc. and reorder when needed.
The best way to manage the inventory is to put one box of whatever it is downstairs and when they come and say they used the last one, give them the last box and then reorder more.
