Our week ending is Thursday at the end of the day: therefore, all letters need to be done by Thursday at the end of the day to be included in that week’s statistics.
Letters done means: they are real letters to the person (not impersonal bulk mail), and they are folded, stuffed, sealed, addressed, stamped and in the mail.
Post office/mailbox deadlines should be considered on Thursday to ensure the letters get out on time and do count for that week. As store locations can change and post office pick-up times can change, the person in charge of letters will set the cut-off time to allow him or her to get these to the post office in time for delivery. This time should be posted where letters are placed when they are ready to be sent out.
