Kindness

We aim to provide a positive and respectful work environment where we treat each other with kindness. It is against the company’s standard of conduct to disrespect, harass, gossip about, bad-mouth, or bully other employees. These actions disrupt the flow of business, and cause a negative environment that can be sensed by other employees as well as customers.

When another person says or does something that you don’t like or that you find irritating, it doesn’t help to make critical and snide comments to a co-worker about that other person behind their back. That only breeds more upset and never gets the problem solved. If someone does or says something that you find offensive or irritating, calmly talk to that person about it right away, or else go and talk to HR about it right away so that it can get resolved.

Conduct prohibited by this policy is unacceptable in the workplace and in any work-related setting, such as during business trips, business meetings and business-related social events. Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including discharge.
