Invoicing Giveaways

We currently have a promotion going where we are giving away Pandora bracelets with the purchase of any charm or allowing a credit towards the purchase of a more expensive bracelet. We still want to invoice the bracelet being given away and show the customer the value they are getting for free.

We now have a way to show the customer the value for their giveaway or the value of the bracelet they are buying and still account for the cost of the giveaway in on our stats.

The way to do this is to use Serv Code 199 in Old Town (Serv Code A94 in Solana Beach) to apply a negative amount to the invoice.

1. For the bracelet giveaway, ring up the bracelet at full retail of $27.
2. Enter Serv-199 (or Serv-A94 in SB) which will subtract $27 from the total of the sale.
3. Enter any other items that the customer is purchasing.

If the customer is buying a different Pandora bracelet instead of taking the giveaway, ring up the bracelet at full retail and then enter Serv -199 (or Serv-A94 in SB) to subtract the $27 credit from the total of the sale.
