Inventory Repairs

There are times when Inventory has a stock job that needs to be repaired. The Repair Dept will always insure all costs are written on the job so Inventory can add it to the cost of the item itself.

Inventory will then, once a week, take this amount and subtract it from their cost of goods sold at the following FP. Ad Council will then take that amount from Inventory and then give it to Repair so they will have the funds available to pay for the invoice that comes in for the cost of the repair.

If we did not do this then Inventory would be getting extra money in when they sell the item and Repair wont have enough money to pay for all of their invoices.
