Giveaways of Fixed Assets

Periodically we have fixed assets that are no longer needed. Fixed assets include furniture, computers, boxes, and office supplies.

When we have assets to give away, this is the procedure that is followed so that everyone who is interested has a fair shot at getting the goods.

1. First Leo and then the other owners have first dibs on anything being given away.
4. If more than one owner wants it, we draw straws and the longest straw gets it. If the owners don’t want it, an email is sent to ALL inviting anyone who is interested to submit their name for a drawing. One name is drawn by someone whose name is not in the drawing and that person gets the item.
5. The item must be removed from the premises in short order.
