Employee Parking

We have somewhat limited parking for our customers and because of that we can’t allow our employees to park in areas that would be used by our customers during store hours. With 25 employees we could easily take up all the available parking and some customers will just leave if they can’t find suitable parking.

The areas in which employees are not allowed to park include the street in front of the building (from Sign King to Wurts) and the parking lot on the south side of the building. Parking along San Diego Avenue is limited to 2 hours anyway and an employee would have to leave work every 2 hours to move their car to avoid getting a citation.

Employees may park on any cross-streets or on San Diego Avenue in areas that are not in front of our building.

It is also not acceptable to park in front of the store or in the customer parking lot in order to rush in and clock in to avoid being tardy for work, and then go back outside on company-paid time to find acceptable parking. Please arrive with plenty of time to find suitable parking and get inside before your designated start time.
