Referrals to Retail Sales
This program is designed to reward our Administrative employees and Estate Buyers for referring their friends & wholesale customers to us as new retail customers. Sales Associates cannot participate in this program. The reward is given when the referred friend makes a purchase, following these guidelines:
- The sale must have at least $250 in profit.
- The award will be $25, or 5% of the profit in store credit, whichever is more.
- The maximum award will be $250.
The procedure
- Administrative or Estate Buyer employee refers new customer.
- New Customer (Referral) is routed by Reception to appropriate salesperson.
- Salesperson completes sales cycle and selects “Referred by Friend” as the Contact Source and puts the referee’s name in the group.
- Each week a list of Referrals that have spent money is pulled from Business Mind by the Marketing Department. (This is done by tracking first purchases and seeing if their contact source was “referred by friend.”)
- Using the list of Referrals pulled in Business Mind, an Excel file will be generated. The Excel file will include the name of the Referral and the name of the person that referred the Referral that spent money.
- The Administrative or Estate Buyer employee who referred the new customer will be issued a store credit. Maggie will track the use of the store credit. It is not redeemable for cash.
Referrals to Estate Buying
This program is designed to reward our Administrative employees and Sales Associates for referring their friends & new customers to us as new buy customers. Estate Buyers cannot participate in this program. The reward is given when the referred friend sells us something, following these guidelines:
- The buy must have at least $250 in profit.
- The award will be $25, or 5% of the profit in store credit, whichever is more.
- The maximum award will be $250.
The procedure
- Administrative or Sales Associate employee refers new buy customer.
- New Customer (Referral) is routed by Reception to appropriate salesperson.
- Estate Buyer completes buy cycle and selects “Referred by Friend” as the buy source and puts the referee’s name in the group.
- The Estate Buyer notifies the Marketing Department about the buy and advises them as to how much profit was realized.
- Marketing will look up the customer in BM to verify that they are not a current retail customer.
- The Administrative or Sales Associate employee who referred the new customer will be issued a store credit. Maggie will track the use of the store credit. It is not redeemable for cash.
