From this point forward, EVERY meeting with advertisers will have notes taken. EVERY meeting, even if casual, assuming business is being discussed.
Why? Advertisers routinely say one thing and then do something slightly (or worse, COMPLETELY) different.
Also, it is mandatory that EVERY aspect of any deal be discussed completely. Every aspect, every angle. Especially what is being received for what is being paid, and what guarantee they”ve agreed to for our ROI.
I have noticed that “they” tend to do things that are not in our best interest. If there is a chance for them to “get” us, THEY WILL!
After every meeting, the Marketing Director must send an email to the advertiser recapping what was agreed upon in the meeting, and get their acknowledgement to the email before proceeding with the new deal. The email is saved to compare later if the deal seems to have been changed from what was agreed.
Please reread this before any meeting. This policy should be MEMORIZED!!!!!
