Closing Early Before Holidays

Our Company normally observes the following holidays during the year:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Independence Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Labor Day (for buy offices that are open on Mondays)

The store may or may not be closed on the day after any of these holidays. That is determined on a year-to-year basis and usually depends on where the holiday falls on the calendar.

The store generally closes early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, but no earlier than 3pm. The store does not close early on the day before Thanksgiving, and salespeople do not leave early on that day, because that time must be spent promoting our Black Friday sale.

The store may or may not be closed on the day before Independence Day, depending on where the holiday falls on the calendar.
