Cleaning Stations

Since we change the cleaning stations from time to time, we will have them posted in the lunchroom. Below is a list of cleaning stations, which will be assigned by Human Resources, who will assign stations to new employees as needed, and make sure the jobs are being done on a daily basis.

  • All employee restrooms
  • Public restroom: must be checked every 30 minutes!
  • Clean kitchen after lunch & before leaving, clean microwave.
  • Clean out refrigerator (thorough cleaning to be done once a month).
  • Clean out & refill coffee machine.
  • Vacuum stairs, dust baseboards, & wipe rails.
  • Wash hallway to kitchen & kitchen floors, & dust the baseboards there.
  • Clean buffing/casting room.
  • Clean Jeweler’s main room.
  • Wash jeweler’s room floors.
  • Tidy comm center area, gift-wrapping table & walkways.
  • Tidy the counter and area in front of the main safes.
  • Dust all baseboards in back office area.
  • Vacuum ALL admin areas (from the Buy office, around the Inventory cubicle & other cubicles, & ramp).
  • Tidy supply closet.
  • Vacuum conference room & hallway to back offices, & dust baseboards there.
  • Clean all windows & windowsills in office areas (not Buy area).
  • Tidy Repair/Sales counter, & under showcases (restock pens, NNCF pads, calculators, catalogues, etc.).
  • Clean wood floor in showroom.
  • Vacuum carpets behind the cases, the counters & the sales desks, & dust brown baseboards in showroom.
  • Dust window boxes and the ledge below them, as well as the long wall cabinets.
  • Dust & oil all wood trims in the back offices
  • Clean front mantrap, including its windows & windowsills.
  • Clean Buy entrance hallway, its doors, windows, windowsills & rails.
  • Clean exterior windows, windowsills & door in front of store, sweep sidewalk, & take any trash out of flower gardens.
  • Tidy kid’s play area, the opposite open display area & their windows.
  • Take out all trash to dumpster
  • Water & trim all plants in showroom & back offices
  • Wipe down conference room table daily

Other than the above-mentioned general areas, you would also be responsible for cleaning your working space (tidy your desk area, clean the counter, computer, chair & walls around your desk etc.)

Your areas need to be checked daily before we open. Then on Saturday, you will clean them thoroughly.
