Leo Hamel Fine Jewelers Policy Letter

Rev1

Calling Customers

When calling customers never give information about a sale, that we have made or are about to make, to anyone other than the person who made the purchase. This would include not giving any information to the spouse. If you have information about a purchase, repair or even available credit, talk to the person himself or herself.

There have been times when a customer gets something and the spouse knows nothing about it, or it’s a surprise. Of course discussing what the other bought might cause a lot of problems between them.

The only exception to this policy would be if you really know your customer and know that it would be OK to discuss the purchase without any doubt.
