Buy Slips

Every buy that you do with a customer needs to have a completed white/green/pink buy slip filled out with the customer’s name, current address, and phone number. This is on ALL buys, even for coins or bullion. We have added the customer’s phone number because too many problems have occurred, after a customer has left the store, where we needed to speak to them immediately. A customer phone number is now mandatory. You can write the phone number next to the address on the buy slip.

I hope that this is clean and plain enough for all buyers to understand why we need this info.

1. A buy slip is done with every purchase, even bullion and coins, and
2. The customer’s phone number is on the slip.

The reward for doing a proper buy is the commission earned. A buy will not be considered complete, and thus commissionable, without the slip done WITH the phone number added. The only time you would leave off the number is if the customer REFUSES to give it and you would note that on the buy slip by writing “refused” where the phone number would have been written.
